PAINTING INSPIRATION:
Join Me For Tea was inspired by the idea that at the end of a journey that is difficult and uncertain, there is rest. The dilapidated dock presents a challenge that one may easily turn away from. A small teapot sits at the end to represent rest and reflection. The title of the work reminds us that we are never truly alone in our quests to find peace. Together, but apart, we will rest at the end of our docks to meditate on the life we have lived.
