Description
Contemporary original painting of paper cranes by Nashville artist, Kristin Llamas.
PAINTING INSPIRATION:
Two paper cranes hang from a string over a quiet landscape. A muted palette of browns, yellows and grays create a peaceful ambiance. This piece is one from the Lullaby Series, which represents the artists’ transition into motherhood. The paper cranes symbolize peace in hope that both mother and child grow together in peace. The text at the bottom is a mirror-written excerpt from the artist’s journal, reading “I’ll see you fly someday, fly away.”
