Description
Inspired by the lullaby Hush Little Baby:
When artist Kristin Llamas was 22 yrs old, she traveled all fifty states creating The Nomadic Project collection. Every day, she found herself in a new place, with new people and new challenges. During that time of both excitement and uncertainty, she caught herself singing a song in her head to calm herself to sleep. One night, she realized that the song she sang was the same lullaby that her own mother sang to her in childhood. This song, titled Hush Little Baby had become a subconscious soothing mechanism for Llamas even into adulthood. From there, she started to study lullabies and their origins to create the Lullaby Collection.

Lyrics for Hush Little Baby:
Hush, little baby, don’t say a word,
Mama’s gonna buy you a mockingbird. And if that mockingbird don’t sing,
Mama’s gonna buy you a diamond ring. And if that diamond ring turns brass,
Mama’s gonna buy you a looking glass. And if that looking glass is broke,
Mama’s gonna buy you a billy goat,And if that billy goat won’t pull,
Mama’s gonna buy you a cart and a bull. And if that cart and bull turn over,
Mama’s gonna buy you a dog named Rover. And if that dog named Rover won’t bark,
Mama’s gonna buy you a horse and a cart. And if that horse and cart fall down,
you’ll still be the sweetest little baby in town.
