Turn down the light, it’s a masquerade night
darkness, mystery, wonder, delight
time to don your fairest wear,
drink up, dance long, with feathers in your hair
tonight play out your most romantic nightmare
It’s lovely and dark, such a fabulous remark
slightly evil, but fun
this fantasy has just begun
Spin around, drink more down
grab a partner if you dare
life, it is so alive
when a mask you do wear
It’s a time where forlorn lovers find warmth in a stranger
it’s a mystical adventure filled with a little danger
Have no fear, for it’s just fear,
instead just dance some more my dear
Don your mask and wear your best,
just let the night create the rest
